The Road

Asphalted beautifully,
in my country not so fine though 
somewhere grey, somewhere fawn
somewhere dense, sparse somewhere,
promises me and thou
a companionship
through the wandering,
diverging into rights and wrongs
reaching everywhere
ending nowhere.
